Tiananmen Square was a location in China.

At one point in the 1980s, it was the site of a bloody crackdown at the hands of the Chinese government during which Gary Seven and Roberta Lincoln had heard reports that Khan Noonien Singh was killed, but this was later disproved. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)
