Todd Kogutt was a male human in Starfleet in the 24th century. Circa 2351 he was a lieutenant serving aboard the USS Lankhmar, where he first met Lieutenant Norman Kenyon, with whom he would go on to become close friends.

Kogutt subsequently served as chief engineer of the USS Harriman and the USS Grissom, both under the command of then-Captain Kenyon. Kogutt was killed in 2366, when the Grissom was attacked by the Romulan warbird IRW Hiyll'aeh.

Kogutt was a lover of beagles, which his family had bred for generations. (NF short story: "Performance Appraisal")
