Lieutenant Tom Nellis was a Starfleet officer who served as executive officer and navigator aboard the Federation survey vessel USS Antares, in the mid-23rd century.

In 2266, Nellis perished along with the rest of the Antares crew when Charles Evans used his psionic powers to remove a baffle plate from the ship's matter piles. (TOS episode: "Charlie X")
