Tral Kliban was a Cardassian space station located near the planet Galion, in the former Demilitarized Zone.
In late 2373, a Maquis delegation of high-ranking officers, including Shin Watanabe, traveled to Tral Kliban and attempted to negotiate Maquis neutrality with the Cardassian-Dominion alliance in regards to their conflict with the Federation Alliance. Unfortunately, the negotiations proved useless and the Cardassians ordered the Maquis to evacuate their colony on Galion.
While at the station for negotiations, Maquis envoy Derek witnessed two prison ships dock at the station that were full of Federation prisoners-of-war. (TNG - The Dominion War novel: Behind Enemy Lines)
