Trann was a foreign galaxy, which contained at least some humanoids. The scientist Laiko and his men left this galaxy in a starship and crash-landed on a planet in the Milky Way Galaxy, where they encountered the crew of the USS Enterprise. (TOS comic: "The Youth Trap")
