History and detailsEdit

Triacus was once believed to be a base of marauders or evil entities who lurked waiting to attack any visitors.

The Starnes Expedition went to explore the planet in the 2260s. Under an evil influence of Gorgan, all the adults committed suicide. (TOS episode & Star Trek 12 novelization: And the Children Shall Lead; TOS video game: 25th Anniversary)

In the later 23rd century, Triacus was home to a Human colony, a noted center of agriculture. By reference stardate 2/2306.01, the world had a population of 160 million individuals, mostly Human, and the government was an associate status colonial member of the Federation.
