Trop, son of Garjak, was a male Ferengi, the brother of the famous DaiMon Greko.

After Greko had become a starship commander, his father sent Trop and his other two brothers, Hecko and Mecko, to serve with him. The four brothers found this to be an excellent and enjoyable arrangement, and spent many hours together playing tongo, enjoying aural sculpture, and sharing Orion slave women on the holodeck.

However, some time later, the ship struck a warp eddy which damaged the hull, and Greko was forced to chose between saving his brothers, or his cargo of valuable beetle snuff. Greko ultimately chose to save the beetle snuff, but used the latinum he earned to erect statues to Trop and his brothers on the grounds of their ancestral home.
