Prior to "the Pulse," Elee took annual balloon rides across Tuuliie Bay, and Raya elMora promised to join her on her upcoming flight in 2291. Unfortunately, Elee died while Raya was off-world, and Raya instead took the ride across Tuuliie Bay with James T. Kirk, during which they dispersed her elor's ashes.
