In an alternate timeline, the United Earth Starship Horizon was a Daedalus-class starship in service to the United Earth Starfleet in the early to mid 23rd century. Commander James T. Kirk was offered command of this ship sometime prior to 2264, but he turned the offer down, preferring to stay on as first officer of the UESS Enterprise.
