The USS Achilles was a pre-refit Miranda-class Federation starship in service in the mid-23rd century.

The Achilles was under the command of Captain Adam Crowe. In 2254, the Achilles was destroyed at the Battle of Theta Kalyb. Only fifty-three members of the crew survived, rescued by the USS Enterprise's transporter. (TOS comics: "The Fallen", "Futures, part I")
