The USS Aeon was a Federation Epoch-class timeship in service to the Federation Timefleet in a possible future in the 29th century. The Aeon was a one-man vessel under the command of Captain Braxton, a successor in the name after a 24th century Sovereign-class starship USS Aeon.
The Aeon went to the year 2373 to destroy the USS Voyager, believing Voyager created a temporal disturbance that destroyed Earth in the 29th century. The Aeon and Voyager battled until the Aeon was sent back to the year 1967. The Aeon crashed and Henry Starling, captured the vessel. Starling acquired technology from the Aeon and marketed it as his own. (VOY episode: "Future's End", Part 1) Kathryn Janeway, Tuvok, Tom Paris, and Chakotay attempted to re-take the vessel on Earth in 1996, but Starling stopped them. Starling was going to take the Aeon to the 29th Century, but Voyager destroyed the Aeon. (VOY episode: "Future's End", Part 2)
- In canon, the Aeon was a Model No. 86 timeship. The official Star Trek website listed this ship as the U.T.S. Aeon. Finally, the reference to a Federation Timefleet is from the Decipher role-playing supplement Starships.
