The USS Ambassador (NX-10521, later NCC-10521) was a Ambassador-class heavy cruiser in service to Starfleet in the early 24th century. When she was commissioned in 2325, the Ambassador was the prototype for a new class of heavy cruisers. During her field trials, the Ambassador visited an unnamed planetary system. (ST calendar: Ships of the Line 2012)

In 2333, the Ambassador was a test bed for new technologies while NX-10521 and was operating out of Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards.
