The USS Anansi was a Federation starship in service in the 2370s. It was of a class specifically designed for use in the Dominion War. It possessed a blunted front section and several hard corners. It possessed the usual twin warp nacelles. The ship also had a small holodeck.
History[]
In 2375, the Anansi was assigned to deliver analysing technology to the Pandora facility. After arriving there, the ship was attacked and damaged by the facility's satellite defense array, which had been commandeered by Axael Krinn.
Ezri Dax later boarded the Anansi to help the crew stop Krinn. (DS9 - Prophecy and Change short story: "Chiaroscuro")
