USS Archer was the prototype vessel of the Archer-class of Federation Starfleet scout vessels. It (and the entire class) was named after famed 22nd century explorer Jonathan Archer. (VAN novel: Harbinger)

This USS Archer has to date never been directly referenced, but its existence is implied by that of the Archer-class.
