The USS Ariannus (NCC-2766) was a Loknar-class (prototype and sole member of the mark III subclass) Federation frigate starship in the late 23rd century, entering Starfleet service on reference stardate 2/1212. The Ariannus was named for the planet Ariannus, and was refit to the Loknar mark IV specifications on stardate 2/1502 and again to the mark V specifications on stardate 2/2001.
