The USS Arkadelphia (NCC-2792) was a Loknar-class Federation frigate starship in the late 23rd century, entering Starfleet service in the 2270s under the command of Captain Ian Vellacora.

HistoryEdit

After construction supervised by Vellacora, the ship was transferred to Starbase 12 for a period of two months until all crewmembers had reported aboard. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)

With all crew aboard, Captain Vellacora took the Arkadelphia to the Asparax Confederation located within the Klingon Neutral Zone. This action nearly initiated a war between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire. (FASA RPG module: Decision at Midnight)

The stardates for this adventure all originate in the Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update. While generally consistent with a 2270s adventure, the game book refers to Kruge at some point, creating some confusion as to the accuracy of that date. However, it is not clear that Kruge's 2280s activities are referred to, making the date information a far more reliable chronology.
