The USS B'hala (NCC-47800) was a 25th century Federation starship, a Mercury-class tactical pilot escort in Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. The B'hala entered service during the Iconian War and was assigned by Captain Tom Paris to the Delta Flight task force. B'hala's commanding officer was the Bajoran Ensign Kana jinnis.

Kana Jinnis was fraught with incident reports while in Starfleet. She had "borrowed" her first shuttle when aged ten. (STO - Iconian War mission: "Delta Flight")
Captain Tom Paris, designer and commanding officer of the first pilot warship, the Mercury-class USS Mercury (NCC-47802), recruited candidates for a new task force to help turn the tide in the Iconian War. Paris, who had a checkered history, looked for great pilots and misfits. (STO - Iconian War short story: "Tales of War")
By the 2410s decade, Kana had achieved ensign among the Federation Starfleet ranks, and wore tactical/command division red. Paris recognised the person behind the incident reports, and invited Ensign Kana to join the task force Delta Flight in the year 2410.
In the aftermath of the Battle of Lae'nas III, Captain Kagran, coordinator of the Khitomer Alliance's Iconian Resistance effort, assigned Delta Flight to stop the Solanae from opening a powerful Iconian gateway in the Calbriden star system. The Solanae had placed a Solanae space station there and sought to change space to establish a pocket of their subspace domain.
Ensign Kana Jinnis was made the commanding officer of the Ajax-class pilot escort USS B'hala. The task force's leadership conferred with Captain Paris aboard the USS Bern, itself under the command of Lieutenant Commander Miral Paris. Ensign Kana would serve as the team scout. Delta Flight infiltrated the Calbriden system, using the asteroid field that had been Calbriden III as cover, and destroyed the Solanae installation. (STO - Iconian War mission: "Delta Flight")
The B'hala was part of the Alliance's disastrous attack on the Dyson sphere in the Iconia system. (STO - Iconian War mission: "Broken Circle")
