The USS Bangkok was a Federation starship, a Steamrunner-class cruiser in Starfleet service in the 24th century. The Bangkok saw action against the Borg Collective and the Undine in the late 2370s. (ST video game: Armada II)
History
On stardate 54771.6 (2377), the Bangkok was part of the joint Federation-Borg armada crossing through Rift Alpha into fluidic space to destroy the Rift Maker to end the Species 8472 incursions into the Alpha and Delta Quadrants. When the Rift Maker was destroyed, the Borg Queen and Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise-E ordered the armada to return through Rift Alpha. Along with the rest of the armada, the Bangkok returned safely to the Hurik system, where the Federation-Borg alliance was called off by Picard, and the Borg were escorted back to the Borg transwarp portal.
