In the year 2407, the Belize was the first ship to survey the planet Trafalax III. Captain Trox of the USS Madrid used this event to claim mineral rights on Trafalax III, as outlined by the Discovery clause in the Jenolan Accords. Captain Ka'ar of the IKS Leng disputed the claim because the Federation and the Klingon Empire had still been at war at the time.
