The USS Bern (NCC-47702) was a Federation Geneva-class command battlecruiser starship in Starfleet service in the early 25th century. The Bern was part of Captain Tom Paris's task force Delta Flight. Its commanding officer was Paris's daughter Lieutenant Commander Miral Paris.
History[]
When the Iconian War began in June 2410, Captain Paris was tasked to destroy a Solanae space station at the former site of Calbriden III, a planet destroyed by the Iconian Heralds to create a pocket dimension suitable for the Solanae. Fleet Admiral Jorel Quinn authorized Captain Paris to form a task force. Lieutenant Commander Miral Paris was put in charge of the Bern.
During the run through the planetary debris, the Bern was attacked and boarded by Heralds. Away teams of the Alliance ships rescued the Bern. When the ship of genius computer specialist Andrew Westin was lost, Commander Paris used his algorithms to disable the station, and the task force destroyed it and the Iaidon-class dreadnought defending the space station. Afterwards, Delta Flight exited the Calbriden system safely. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Delta Flight")
