The USS Buran (NCC-57580) was a Federation Challenger-class starship in service to Starfleet in the mid 24th century. In 2367, the Buran participated in the Battle of Wolf 359. It was destroyed, along with 38 other starships. (TNG episode: "The Best of Both Worlds")
