The USS Constellation (NCC-2500) was a Constellation-class starship in service in the 24th century. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual)

According to the Officer's Manual, the Constellation was decommissioned in January 2362. However, if the Constellation was to be in service in the 2370s, it could be that the ship was decommissioned, and later re-entered service.

In 2371, the Constellation was ordered to Deep Space 9 to transport a Jem'Hadar child to Starbase 201 for study. (DS9 episode: "The Abandoned")

During the Dominion War in mid-2374, it was assigned to assist the USS Defiant in the search for survivors of the Cardassian attack on the USS Honshu. (DS9 episode: "Waltz")
