The USS Courage (NCC-1874) was a Miranda-class starship in service in the late 23rd century. (FASA RPG module: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)

As of 2381, the Courage was commanded by Captain Mary Beth Sterling. In that year, they were assigned to patrol sector 009 in the aftermath of the recent Borg Invasion. The Courage deviated from that assignment to aide in the resettlement of survivors from Deneva on planet Ingraham B. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)

It is possible that the 24th century Courage was a different, newer vessel, but there is no information to support or contradict this supposition.
