The USS Courageous (alternately registered NCC-26241 and NCC-1805) was a Federation Miranda-class (Reliant-subclass) cruiser starship in service to Starfleet in the 23rd century. By the mid-2280s, the Courageous was under the command of Captain March.
The Couragerous entered service on reference stardate 2/1610 along with her mk I sister ships, the USS Vindicator and the USS Redoubt. The Courageous was later refit to mk II specifications on reference stardate 2/1904. (ST roleplay module: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)
In 2285, the Courageous was assigned a patrol near Starbase 13. In this year, the ship was attacked by the mirror universe starship ISS Enterprise. Following the assault, the Courageous suffered heavy damage, her life support systems were failing, and most of her crew lay dying. Fortunately, she was able to send out a distress call to Starfleet informing them of the attack. (TOS - The Mirror Universe Saga comic: "Double Image")
