The USS DeWitt (NCC-96047) was a Federation Typhoon-class starship in Starfleet service in the early 25th century.

In 2409, the DeWitt took the lead a Starfleet task force dispatched to the Alhena system to retake a starbase occupied by the Klingon Defense Force. The KDF obliterated the task force and disabled the DeWitt. A KDF team boarded the battleship, fought the crew until the captain, John Hollingsworth, was subdued. After he was forced to reveal the Sol system defense codes, the boarding party returned to their ship, which then used the DeWitt for target practice. (STO mission: "Second Star to the Right, Straight on 'til Morning")

A synchronic proton distortion prototype assault rifle, acquired from the DeWitt, went into the possession of the Klingon Imperial Intelligence. (STO mission: "Spin the Wheel")
