The USS Discovery (NCC-52333) was a Steamrunner-class science vessel in service to the Federation Starfleet in the late 24th century.

In 2377, the Discovery was attacked and disabled by the Kam'Jahtae near Lycosa. Because of the significant damage to the ship's systems, the Discovery was unable to escape from the gravitational pull of a nearby black hole and was destroyed. Thankfully, the Discovery's crew were rescued by the Typhon-class USS Typhon. (ST video game: Invasion)
