The USS Firenze was a Federation medical ship that served during the 23rd and 24th centuries.

In 2285, the Firenze met up with the USS Enterprise to take on the majority of that ship's trainee crew for medical treatment after the encounter with Khan Noonien Singh. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan; FASA RPG module: Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)

In 2363, Lieutenants Torres and Miranda Kadohata served aboard the Firenze. In 2364, they both transferred to the newly launched USS Enterprise-D, under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. (TNG novel: Q & A)

There is a possibility that the Firenze in service in the 2360s was a different vessel to the Firenze in service in the 2280s.
