The USS Fleming was a Federation Olympic-class medical frigate starship in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. The Fleming was part of the medical fleet sent to Romulan space to help the survivors of the destruction of Romulus in 2387, and was destroyed by Nero's upgraded mining vessel, the Narada. (ST comic: "Countdown, Number Three")

Starfleet finally learned of the Fleming's fate in 2409, when wreckage of the ship was found by Starfleet vessels in the Icari star system. (STO mission: "Secure the Icari System")
