The USS Fortune was a Federation Starfleet starship launched in the 2190s. Number One served aboard the Fortune before her assignment aboard the USS Ventura.

In the 2240s, the Fortune answered a distress call from a Human colony on Tau Alpha III, only to be destroyed by an unknown alien vessel. Out of a crew of 56, only 27 survived. (TOS comic: "The Bottle")
