The USS Gander (NCC-72311) was a Danube-class runabout in service to Starfleet in the mid-2370s. (Decipher RPG module: Starships)

In 2375, the Gander was assigned to Deep Space 9. In this year, Lieutenant Ezri Dax took the Gander from DS9 in an attempt to find Lieutenant Commander Worf, who had been reported missing in action. Upon entering the Goralis system, near the Badlands, the Gander was attacked and destroyed by two Jem'Hadar attack ships. (DS9 episode: "Penumbra")
