The USS Geronimo was an Akira-class Federation cruiser starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. By 2378, the Geronimo was under the command of Captain Gregory MacCray. (TNG video games: Armada, Armada II)

After the USS Sovereign had received a full refit and USS Dauntless crew has been transported to it, the Geronimo was assigned to perform wargames against the Sovereign to test her systems. After the Sovereign scored a victory, the Geronimo was joined by two Klingon B'rel-class birds-of-prey, IKS RanKuf and IKV Bowie'e which met the war game battle on the side of the Geronimo. The Geronimo later investigated Cardassian activity at the Prendel star system but was discovered and attacked before it could locate its objective. It took some serious damage and therefore had to stay for some time at Starbase 12 until getting a new assignment. The Geronimo was later severely damaged but not destroyed during the battle against Cardassian insurgents led by Legate Matan and his fleet of hybrid ships. (ST video game: Bridge Commander)

• Captain's log at 0600. We detected a Cardassian scout ship on course for the Prendel system. Passive sensors detected Cardassian activity near the inner planets, but we lost contact with the scout. I am holding position near Prendel V until things quiet down a bit, then we'll sneak in and have a look about. I believe we're close to our objective – there's too much activity in the system, the Cardassians don't go mucking about for nothing.
