The USS Hera (NCC-62006) was a Federation Nebula-class cruiser starship in service in the 24th century.

In 2370, the Hera, under the command of Captain Silva La Forge, with a crew composed mainly of Vulcans, mysteriously disappeared on a courier run. Although a massive search was mounted, no trace of the vessel or its crew was ever found. The ship was believed to have been destroyed and a memorial service was held for the crew. In 2383 the crew of the USS Challenger discovered evidence that the Hera had been transported into deep space by a form of natural quantum slipstream. The transit had modified the molecular structure of the Hera, increasing its density and warping the vessel. An away mission from the Challenger was able to investigate the vessel and rescued several survivors from the vessel. (TNG novel: Indistinguishable from Magic)
