The USS Ilan Ramon was a Federation starship in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century, named after Israeli astronaut, Ilan Ramon, who died aboard the space shuttle Columbia in 2003.
Taurik served aboard the Ilan Ramon throughout the duration of hostilities between the Federation and the Dominion in the mid-2370s. (TNG novel: A Time to Sow)
