The USS Jein was a United Earth starship, a Daedalus-class cruiser in the Earth Starfleet during the Earth-Romulan War.

Service history and disposition[]

In the year 2157, the Jein was part of the flotilla that fought at the Battle of Gamma Hydra. Unfortunately, Jein was destroyed in combat. (ENT - The Romulan War novel: To Brave the Storm)

The Jein is likely named after Gregory JeinMA, a model-maker who worked on a number of Star Trek movies and television series.
