The USS Jones was a Federation starship, an Intrepid-class cruiser in Starfleet service in the late 24th century.

History and specificsEdit

The Jones was in service in the late 2370s decade, around the year 2377. (ST video game: Armada II)

This is one of a number of ships to be so named, succeeding the earlier Ambassador Hardin-class USS Jones and followed by another Saber-class USS Jones by 2379. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual; TNG video game: Starfleet Command III)
