The USS Lagrange (NCC-617) was an Oberth-class Federation starship in service during the late 23rd century.

The Lagrange was constructed in 2272 at the San Francisco shipyards of Earth. In the 2280s, the Lagrange was commanded by Captain Kurt Redd.

This ship was used in Starfleet Academy bridge crew training simulations for the Class of 2288, and as such was "destroyed" in a simulated mission by a Venturi medium cruiser. (TOS video game: Starfleet Academy)

This ship was seen in-game with the given name and registry number clearly written on her hull.

Named after Joseph Louis Lagrange, the French mathematician and mathematical physicist.
