The USS Lakota was an Akira-class Federation cruiser starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. This ship was in active service around the 2370s decade. (TNG video games: Armada, Armada II)

No history or fate is established for this vessel as its name was randomly selected for a cruiser by the game software.

In 2409, the ship was commanded by captain James Allen. During that year, the ship entered the Agrama system to apprehend a Starfleet defector, Franklin Drake and transfer him back to starbase. (STO mission: "Under the Cover of Night")

As the ship in Star Trek Online is an Akira-class vessel, it is presumably the same vessel as the one in Armada II.
