The USS Lexington (NCC-14427, sometimes referred to as NCC-2026) was an Excelsior-class battleship in service to Starfleet in the 23rd and 24th centuries.

In 2345, the Lexington held an important diplomatic conference between the Federation and the Antedeans. One of the Federation Ambassadors was Curzon Dax, who became friends with the Lexington's chief of security, Lieutenant Declan Keogh.
In 2348, the Lexington was called to planet Altair VI, when the planet was attacked by the an-Jirok. The Lexington was able to repel the attack, but because of Lt. Keogh's sluggish reactions due to a hangover, five officers died. (The Brave and the Bold - DS9 novel: The Second Artifact)
