The USS Mississippi was a Danube-class runabout that was in service in 2370.
In that year, the USS Enterprise-D brought the Mississippi to Deep Space 9, as a supplement for Admiral Kontikoss party.
William Riker, Kira Nerys, Deanna Troi, Jadzia Dax, Data and Odo later used the Mississippi to travel through the disrupted Bajoran wormhole to find the missing Starfleet staff. The crew later abandoned the Mississippi, which was destroyed by a Gamma Quadrant race working with the Cardassians. (The Landmark Crossover: The Wormhole Trap!)
