The USS Nile was a Danube-class runabout in service in 2376. In that year, Ensign Prynn Tenmei was sent from Deep Space 9 to Minos Korva to pick up Lieutenant Ro Laren, Vlu and Taran'atar while Julian Bashir and Ezri Dax used the USS Rio Grande to to travel to Trill. (DS9 novel: Trill: Unjoined)
