In 2370, the Nobel and the USS Excelsior were assigned to search for the missing USS Hera, under the command of Captain Silva La Forge. (TNG episode: "Interface")
During the height of the Dominion War, the Nobel was often assigned to the Bajoran Sector and served on the front-lines. Unfortunately, many of her crew were killed in combat. (DS9 episodes: "In the Pale Moonlight", "Image in the Sand", "The Siege of AR-558", "What You Leave Behind")
