The USS Renown was a Federation Intrepid-class cruiser starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. This ship was in active service around the year 2378.

In 2379, her commanding officer was Captain Sherman. He relieved Jean-Luc Picard from the Unity One construction site and was responsible for the inner security of the starbase both during the final phases of construction and the inauguration. The Renown fought against three Rakelli warships in the defense of the station. (ST video game: Starfleet Command III)

No definitive final fate was established for this vessel as it was not seen after the Klingon campaign in Starfleet Command III.
