The USS Republic was a Federation Lexington-class command cruiser starship in Starfleet service in the 23rd century. This ship was presumably in active service around the 2290s decade.

A depiction of this ship was used in the elite Klingon Command Academy bridge crew training simulations for the class of 2290. As such, she was encountered in the MacArthur star system in a simulated mission, in company with the USS Iceland, USS Tasmania, USS Boone, and USS Somers. (TOS video game: Klingon Academy)
