The USS Sagittarius was a Norway-class Starfleet starship in service in the 2370s.
In 2376, the Sagittarius was operating out of Starbase 51, when Admiral Leonard James Akaar ordered it to assist the USS Gryphon, the USS T'Kumbra and the USS Polaris in stopping Hiziki Gard, believed to be a host to a parasite, from reaching Trill.
The Sagittarius and the other ships later fired on the Gryphon, as they were correct in believing a parasite was aboard the Gryphon and was using it to head to Trill. The Sagittarius and the others stood down when Kira Nerys had the Gryphon send a message to Captain Solok using the Gryphon's phasers.
The Sagittarius later helped to retrieve the escape pods that had been launched from the Gryphon. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Lesser Evil)
