The USS Saladin was a Federation Baton Rouge-class cruiser starship in service to Starfleet in the 23rd century.

In the early 2260s, the Saladin was under the command of Captain James T. Kirk. In 2264, the Saladin returned to Earth following a long deep-space mission. Before the Saladin docked, Captain Kirk transported over to the USS Enterprise, leaving Commander Keleway to complete docking procedures. (TOS comic: "All Those Years Ago...")
