Background[]
The Salk was named for a Human doctor and medical scientist of history—Jonas SalkWP, discoverer of the polio vaccine. No specific history or definitive final fate was established for this vessel as its name was selected for a ship by the Armada II game developers, and is placed randomly by the game software each time the ship appears.
