The USS Samantha Piper (NCC-6035) was a Decker-class Federation class X destroyer starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. This ship entered active service around reference stardate 2/8705, having been named for the noteworthy member of Starfleet, Samantha Piper. The Piper class is noted to be named for influential figures in Starfleet history. A later USS Piper, possibly a successor to this vessel, will most likely be the prototype of the Piper-class tugs.
