The USS Samara Uhura (NCC-6008) was a Federation Decker-class class X destroyer starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. The Uhura was commissioned on reference stardate 2/7711, having been named for the noteworthy Starfleet officer, Samara Uhura. (TNG roleplay module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual)
- Although it seems this vessel was intended to be named for Nyota Uhura, the name does not match hers, and raises the possibility the ship could be named for a different individual with the same surname.
