The USS Sutherland was a Federation starship in service to Starfleet in the early 24th century.

In 2333, Ang transferred to the Sutherland from the USS Stargazer to serve as the ships second officer. (STA novel: Gauntlet)

By the 2360s, the Sutherland had either been decommissioned or lost and replaced by a new ship named Sutherland. (TNG episode: "Redemption")
