The USS Truman was part of a Federation fleet sent to investigate Vulcan in alternate reality 2258, while it was being attacked by the Romulan mining vessel Narada.
Upon arrival at Vulcan, the Truman, along with the rest of the fleet, except for the Enterprise, was destroyed. (TOS movie: Star Trek)
